Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

�Auto-Stop� Automatische Sicherheitsabschaltung (Nur Type HI 444) Wird das Bügeleisen eine gewisse Zeit lang nicht bewegt, so wird das Heizelement automatisch ausgeschaltet. Die rote Kontrollampe (O) beginnt zu blinken (Abb. 11). Steht das Bügeleisen waagerecht, setzt der Auto-Stop nach 30 Sekunden ein, steht es aufrecht, nach 8 Minuten. - Wird das Bügeleisen wieder bewegt, erlischt die rote Kontrollampe (O). Die gelbe Kontrollampe (P) leuchtet auf und zeigt an, da� die Bügelsohle wieder aufgeheizt wird. - Warten Sie, bis die gelbe Kontrollampe (P) erlischt, bevor Sie mit dem Bügeln fortfahren. Wartung � Es ist wichtig, da� Sie spätestens alle 14 Tage die unten beschriebene Selbstreinigung durchführen, um Verunreinigungen und Kalkreste zu entfernen. � Je härter das von Ihnen verwendete Wasser ist, um so häufiger ist die Selbstreinigung vorzunehmen. Selbstreinigung - Stellen Sie den Dampfregler (B) auf Position 0 (=kein Dampf). - �ffnen Sie die Klappe an der Einfüllöffnung (F), und füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter bis zur Markierung MAX. - Schlie�en Sie die Einfüllöffnung (F). - Stellen Sie den Temperaturregler (A) auf die Position MAX. - Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose. - Heizen Sie die Bügelsohle auf, bis (Typen HI 414/434:) die gelbe Kontrollampe (H), (Type HI 444:) die gelbe Kontrollampe (P) einmal aus- und wieder angegangen ist. - Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. - Halten Sie das Bügeleisen waagerecht über ein Spülbecken. - Drücken Sie die Selbstreinigungstaste (I) (Abb. 12). Dampf und kochendes Wasser treten jetzt aus der Bügelsohle aus. Verunreinigungen und Kalkreste werden dabei, sofern vorhanden, ausgespült. - Bewegen Sie das Bügeleisen dabei vorsichtig hin und her. 26
