I was having a hard time finding the problem with this Mackie 1604 unit. I didn't have a schematic. Went looking on the web and found your site and the price was more then reasonable. Ordered it and within the hour had the manual and within 15 minutes had the unit fixed. Best $4.99 I ever spent. Thank you.

This is a service manual in every sense of the word ( French and German versions of the text are included, as well as English..)
There are explanations of the mechanical and electrical functions, plenty of mechanical drawings, and the needed schematics. The quality of the scanning is excellent - all the component values are clearly legible - and very usefully there are pcb component layouts, so you can find a component on the schematic, and then very quicky pinpoint its physical location on the relevant pcb.
I cannot see how I can give this manual any less than the maximum 5 stars! Great value for money, which will pay for itself immediately. Excellent all round!

6-3. Self Diagnostics of BKDS-2010 Not Using Terminal
BKDS-2010 is able to check the following functions without using the terminal. Checks 1. SW SCAN TEST 2. 7SEG TEST 3. VOLUME TEST 4. LCD TEST 5. MEMORY TEST 1. SW SCAN TEST Procedure (1) Check that the AC inlet is disconnected from the rear panel of the BKDS-2010. (2) While pressing the [NORM] button on the control panel, connect the AC inlet to the rear panel to enter the SW SCAN TEST mode. For the details of this test, refer to the step (3) and later of �1. SW SCAN TEST� in �6-2-3. Self Diagnosis�. 2. 7SEG TEST Procedure (1) Check that the AC inlet is disconnected from the rear panel of the BKDS-2010. (2) While pressing the NORM button on the control panel, connect the AC inlet to the rear panel to enter REV the 7SEG TEST mode. For the details of this test, refer to the step (3) and later of �4. 7SEG TEST� in �6-2-3. Self Diagnosis�. 3. VOLUME TEST Procedure (1) Check that the AC inlet is disconnected from the rear panel of the BKDS-2010. (2) While pressing the [REV] button on the control panel, connect the AC inlet to the rear panel to enter the VOLUME TEST mode. For the details of this test, refer to the step (3) and later of �5.
