Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much...
But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings.
I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. I wouldn't be surprised if I bought a 1928 Marconi radio, and got the user Manual for THAT here too!

Controleer het volgende alvorens te concluderen dat het toestel defect is. � Is alles goed aangesloten? � Gaat u tewerk zoals beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing? Indien het toestel niet blijkt te werken zoals het hoort, controleer dan de punten in de onderstaande tabel. Als de oorzaak van het probleem niet kan worden gevonden, is het toestel misschien defect. Zet het dan meteen af, trek de stekker uit het stopcontact en neem contact op met de zaak waar u het toestel hebt gekocht of met de dichtstbijzijnde HITACHI dealer.
Probleem Het toestel werkt niet. Oorzaak � Geen disc ingebracht. � Disc beschadigd of vuil. � Aansluitingen verkeerd. � Niets opgenomen op de disc. (�Blank Disc� of �No Track� verschijnt.) � De disc is DEFECT. � De disc is gekrast. � De INHOUDSOPGAVE (TOC) gegevens kunnen niet worden gelezen. � De opgenomen disc telt veel slechte sectoren. � De mini disc is niet conform. � Disc is beveiligd. (�Protected� verschijnt.) � Er is geen tijd meer op de disc. (�Disc Full� verschijnt.) � Er zijn al 255 muziekstukken opgenomen op de disc. (�Disc Full� verschijnt.) � U probeert een digitaal opgenomen bron digitaal op te nemen. (�Copy Prohibit� verschijnt.) � De ingangskeuzeschakelaar (INPUT SELECT) is niet correct ingesteld. � De INPUT LEVEL regelaar staat dicht. Oplossing � Breng een disc in. � Vervang de disc door een andere. � Controleer de aansluitingen. � Breng een voorbespeelde disc in.
Disc speelt niet.

Doorgaan met �TOC lezen�.
Opnemen lukt niet.
� Verschuif het wispreventienokje van de disc zodat de opening is afgesloten. � Vervang de disc. Wis overbodige stukken om de opnameduur te verlengen. � Vervang de disc. Wis overbodige muziekstukken om de opnameduur te verlengen. � Neem analoog op.
� Controleer de opnameingangsstand. � Stel de INPUT LEVEL regelaar bij (alleen voor analoge opname.)
� De werking van het toestel kan worden verstoord door externe invloeden zoals bliksem of statische elektriciteit. Zet dan het toestel af of trek de stekker uit het stopcontact, wacht ongeveer 5 minuten en steek dan de stekker weer in het stopcontact.
