6 Switch the appliance off and remove the brush from your hair by pressing the bristle retraction knob and turning it in the direction of the arrows. Lift a lock of hair at the roots on the sides of your head and move the brush along the lock from root to tip. Cleaning 1 Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Never rinse the appliance with water. Put the appliance in a safe place and let it cool down.
