Thank you for having the manual I needed for an older model Aiwa stero I had found on Ebay --- I wanted the Aiwa because I had tapes and cd's but I did not have a manual as to how to operate the system... I found what I needed and it has enabled me to set the system up for my enjoyment.

1 Put the mains plug into the wall socket. Note:This appliance has an internal dual voltage mechanism that automatically adjusts to the required voltage. Therefore it can easily be used abroad. Use a plug adapter suitable for the wall sockets in the country you are visiting to connect the appliance to the mains. 2 Unfold the straightener by pushing both folding system buttons simultaneously. (Fig. 2) , Always make sure the straightener is fully extended when you use it. Unlock the straightening plates by turning the easy-lock system counterclockwise until the plates open. (Fig. ) Push the on/off button. The light goes on to indicate that the straightener is heating up. The plates heat up rapidly and will be ready for use within seconds. 5 Comb or brush your hair so that it is disentangled and smooth. 6 Use a comb to divide the hair into sections. Do not put too much hair in one section. (Fig. ) Tip: It is better to section off the crown area and to straighten the hair underneath first, followed by the top area. 7 Take a section that is approximately -cm wide. Place it between the straightening plates and press the handles of the appliance firmly together. 8 Slide the straightener down the length of the hair for 5 seconds, from root to hair end, without stopping to prevent overheating. (Fig. 5) 9 Repeat this process after 20 seconds until you have achieved the desired look. 10 Allow your hair to cool down. Do not comb or brush it before it has cooled down, as this could ruin the hairstyle you have just created.
