Pour lukewarm water and some washingup liquid into the blender jar, up to the level indicated on the jar (0.5 litre). Assemble the lid and the stopper. HR176x: Let the appliance run for a few moments by pressing the Quick Clean button. (When you release the button, the appliance stops running).HR177x: Select speed 4 or 5 and let the appliance run for a few moments by pressing the Quick Clean button. (When you release the button, the appliance stops running). Detach the blender jar and rinse it with clean water.
