The PDF copy was immediately available on download after the payment. However, I noticed that the document was in German, and Ihad to contact a German translator to get it translated it to English. The quality of document is legible can be used for my purpose.

Thank you for providing this manual and at low cost.
The Philips scope is of excellent quality, longevity and build and had a couple of faults
when it was passed to me. Having the CCT diagrams is a blessing.
I have fixed the problems and also modded the scope to my requirements.
I have built a 24v Li-Ion pack for portable use from old but good laptop batts.
it is working beautifully and I am well pleased. Keep up the good work Guys.

Recording
Setting The Cable Box Channel Number
After the record mode is initiated, the cable box channel number must be set if a cable box is in use. The screen will ask for the cable box channel number. b Insert a tape. If the screen to the right appears (as when using a tape that already has a Tape Number and has been entered), skip to step 4. c Insert a tape. If the screen to the right appears (as when using a tape that has a directory which is not recognized by your VCR), skip to step 5. 2 Start recording.The screen to the right appears:

Procedure
1 Enter the cable box channel number using the DIGIT keys. 2 Press ENTER.
Setting The Tape Number
After recording has been initiated, the VCR must know the Tape Number before the data can be stored in memory. If you know the number but the VCR can't read it, you need to enter it. When using a brand new tape, you have to command the VCR to assign a Tape Number for you. The procedure differs slightly depending on the situation.

Preparation
1. Turn on the power to the TV and the VCR. 2. Set the TV to the channel or mode appropriate for video playback.

Press 2, or don't press either 1 or 2. The new Tape Number is automatically assigned. Go to step 6. 3 Start recording. The screen to the right appears:

� When using an RI tape, if the screen in step 1 a appears, skip to step 3. � If you use a tape that already has a Tape Number and has been recorded on, but has not been entered in the library, the screen in step 1 a appears. Skip to step 3. � In the event that you press STOP at the "READING TAPE# . . ." screen, stopping Tape Number reading partway through . . . . . . if the inserted tape has not yet been assigned a Tape Number, go to step 2. . . . if the inserted tape has already been assigned a Tape Number, go to step 3.

PRESS(DIGITS) THEN PRESS(ENTER) PRESS(CLEAR)TO MAKE CORRECTION PRESS(CANCEL)TO RETURN
Use the DIGIT buttons to enter the Tape Number. (To make corrections to the number you've entered, press CLEAR and input the correct number. To quit the process, press CANCEL and the previous screen reappears.) Once the correct number has been input, press ENTER.
