Genuine Toshiba owner's manual. Couldn't really ask for more. And written in understandable English in contrast to a few recent experiences I have had with manuals for other equipment other than Toshiba but made in China and written in "Chinglish"!
 ;
I purchased a vintage Sony mixer off eBay and within the hour was able to locate and purchase the manual for it.I mean really,where else can you find a manual for a product made in 1983!? It was easy to find and purchase/download the manual I needed.I will use this site again for other equipment I have! Great site!

Timer Recording
Up to 8 timer recording programs can be made using G-CODE timer programing or Express timer programing method as far as a year in advance. Remember, the clock must be set before you can program the timer.
G-CODE Timer Programing
The G-CODE numbers are the numbers next to the program in most TV listing. Remember, the clock must be set before you can program the timer. Be sure to read G-CODE®. Load a cassette with the record safety tab intact. The recorder turns on, and the counter is reset, automatically. Select the appropriate colour system with PAL/MESECAM and NTSC in Function settings.
NOTES:
 If all the 8 programs have already been set, PROGRAM FULL appears on the TV screen. After timer recording is completed, the recorder turns off automatically. You can program the timer recording while a regular recording is in progress; the menu screens will not be recorded. In case of a power failure after programming, the recorders memory backup keeps your selections (if the lithium battery is not exhausted).

Simply key in the G-CODE number for the TV programme you wish to record (found in most TV listings) and the recorder's timer is automatically programmed. You have to set GUIDE PROG numbers, which are assigned to each station for purposes of G-CODE timer programming, for all the stations stored in your recorders memory to get proper results. Before G-CODE setup you must have performed the procedures of Tuner Set and Clock Set.
