Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.

SIMPLE PLAYBACK AND RECORDING
Simple Playback
Turn on the TV and select the VCR channel 3 or 4 (or AV mode).

Make sure the window side is up, the rear label side is facing you and the arrow on the front of the cassette is pointing towards the VCR. Don�t apply too much pressure when inserting.
LOAD A CASSETTE
� The VCR�s power comes on automatically. � The counter is automatically reset to �0:00:00�. � If the cassette�s record safety tab has been removed, playback begins automatically.

If the tape is advanced past the start point, press REW. To go forward, press FF.
START PLAYBACK
Press PLAY. �B.E.S.T. PICTURE SYSTEM� appears on the screen (when B.E.S.T. is set to �ON� pg. 22).
STOP PLAYBACK
Press STOP or STOP/EJECT. Then press STOP/EJECT to remove the cassette.
