This service manual is a good copy of the original, complete and fully readable. It is really useful to repair my Tv set following its clear instructions.

[4] Updating the firmware
1. Plug in the AC adaptor.
1. The charging mode is activated. Press the ENTER or MENU key to turn on the power.
2. Copy the firmware.
1. Connect to a PC with the USB cable. 2. Copy the UPGRADE.BIN to ROOT of the drive. 3. Disconnect the USB cable.
3. Execute update.
1. Press the RETURN key to turn off the power, and unplug the AC adaptor. 2. Plug in the AC adaptor again. 3. "UpdatingFW..." appears and the update starts. 4. After the update is completed, the charging mode is activated.
4. Perform the following:
1. From the Menu List, open the About screen and check the firmware version. 2. From the Menu List, execute Format. 3. From the Menu List, execute Default. 4. Enter the test mode, then from Exit test mode, execute Default load.
[5] Replacing the HDD unit
1. Replace the HDD unit. 2. Plug in the AC adaptor.
1. "HDD error" appears. 2. Press these keys in the following order: � � � � � MENU KEY RIGHT KEY DOWN KEY UP KEY RIGHT KEY (Press for 2 seconds.)
3. "Formatting..." appears and the format starts. 4. Follow these onscreen instructions: i) ConnectUSB ii) CopyUpgrade.Bin iii) UnplugUSB
3. Disconnect the USB cable. "UpdatingFW..." appears and the update starts.
After the update is completed, the charging mode is activated.
4. Perform the following:
1. From the Menu List, open the About screen and check the firmware version. 2. From the Menu List, execute Default. 3. Enter the test mode, then from Exit test mode, execute Default load.
