I found the manual to be clear concise and complete. It was of immense assistance when removing the unit as the unit was over 22 years old and the wiring diagram was unobtainable from the manufacturer. The exploded drawings were clear as were the instructions and labels.

Tape Speed Adjustment Settings : � Test tape : TTA�100 (Tape center) � Test point : PHONES JACK (J1) � Volume : NON-CLIP (MAX-10dB) � S-BASS : OFF � Adjustment location : SFR51 <YU,YL,YZ,YJ> SFR52 <YH> Method : Play back the test tape and adjust SFR51 or SFR52 so that the frequency becomes 3000Hz ± 10Hz (FWD). Then confirm WOW is less than 0.50%.
