Having purchased a 1994 Kenwood music system from a Charity shop in 2013 (it was a high end product in its day), I found myself not quite knowing where to plug in what, and how to do this, that and the next thing. I needed a Manual, and after failure with another online 'Manual provider' I found Owner Manuals dot com. Well, I wasn't sure, but it was only $5, and if things didn't work out, I wouldn't have lost much... But things DID work out. After paying my childrens inheritance money, $4.99, I was sent a Manual for my Kenwood System very quickly. Alas, it was in German, and being Scottish, I could not read it or get my system in order from it...a rapid email to them brought the English Manual in short order, and my retro-system was and IS up and running in it's regulation settings. I am very grateful to http://www.owner-manuals.com for their quick service and for even having such an obsolete Manual in the first place! If you need a Manual for ANYTHING, try here first. SET UP menu

ID LIST
You can store a name for each of the devices connected to each EXT terminal. Giving a name to an EXT terminal makes the EXT terminal number appear on the screen, together with its name. 1 Press the 5 or 6 buttons to choose an EXT terminal 2 Press the blue button to display the name list (ID LIST)

DUBBING
You can choose a signal source to be output from the EXT-2 terminal. You can do this with the output signals of the devices connected to other EXT terminals, or with the picture and sound from a TV channel you are currently viewing.

Caution:
Every time you dub, check this DUBBING setting beforehand. This setting may change automatically when �Timers (DTV Timer Recording)� or �Direct Rec� of the T-V LINK function is used. 1 Press the 5 buttons to choose the arrow from the menu

Then press the a button The ID LIST disappears and the name is assigned to the EXT terminal. � You cannot assign an EXT terminal name not found in the name list (ID LIST). To erase a name assigned to the EXT terminal: Choose a blank space. 4 Press the a button to complete the setting

The left side of the arrow shows a signal source output from the EXT-2 terminal. EXT-1/EXT-3/EXT-5: The output signal of the device connected to an EXT terminal passes through the TV and is output from the EXT-2 terminal.
