AUDIO CAN NOT BE RECORDED
Is BIAS level O.K at L4005 ? Yes
No
Is the voltage at pin 2 of L4005 5.8V ? Yes
No
Check POWER circuit.
Is the voltage at pin 29 of IC1002 about 5V ? Yes
No
Replace IC1002.
L4005 is broken or shorted. Is there AUDIO signal at pin 5 of CP4002 ? Yes No Check the circuit between pin4 of IC4001 to pin 5 of CP4002.
Is there AUDIO signal at pin 11 of IC4001 ?
No Replace IC4001.
Yes
Check the lead wire and connector to A/C HEAD.
