Great manual...really saved me. The only problem is that I thought I would be able to download it directly when I paid for it but never received the download instructions until the next morning. The board trace pages were somewhat light also: really need to turn up the contrast on the printer before printing them. The schematic page was great; very clear! Well worth the money.

I've been in the electronic business for a long time. I used to buy Sam's Photofact for my needs which intailed having to go to the store and paying about $20 for a package of 3 different units so I was forced to buy more than I needed just to get one.
Owner manual is just at your keyboard and the information is almost instantansouly and the cost is very reasonable. Easy to print out if needed or simply read off of the screen. The larger the screen the better for obvious reasons.

Is a waveform found in pins 2 to 4 of CR101 and pins 2 to 4 of CR102 and pins 2 to 4 of CR103 and pins 2 to 4 of CR104 ? Is pin 1 (VCC) of CR101 and pin 22 (VCC) of CR104 and pin 20 (GND) of CR101 and pin 1 (GND) of CR104 normal ? Check between IC401 and CR101. Yes Check around IC401. Is a waveform found in pins 33, 35 and 37 of IC401 ? No Yes No
Check the pattern and soldering of multi-link station PWB and LCD flexible PWB. If no problem is found, replace the LCD.

If playback time is counted but no sound is heard during continuous playback. Is an audio waveform found in pins 1 (TP721), 2 (TP722), 3 (TP723) and 4 (TP724) of J703 ? No Is there a pulse where duty varies in pins 2 and 5 of Q751, Q752, Q761 and Q762 ? No Is a pulse waveform found in pins 1, 4, 9 and 12 of IC751 and pins 1, 4, 9 and 12 of IC761 ? Are pins 2, 5, 10 and 13 of IC751 H ? Yes OK Does pulse waveform appear on pins 5, 6, 8 and 9 of IC203? No Check pins 68, 69, 71 and 72 of IC201 and pin 19 of IC401. If the voltage of pin 6 of Q751 and Q752 and pin 3 of Q761 and Q762 is below 2 V when setting VOLUME to MAX, check the power supply circuit of IC813 and IC821. Check soldering of J703, the remote control and the earphones. Yes
