Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

PROBL�MES Le débit de l�eau est plus lent que normalement
CAUSES POSSIBLES
La pression de l�eau est trop faible.
SOLUTIONS
La pression de l�eau doit se situer entre 35 et 100 lb á po2 pour assurer un bon fonctionnement. Une pression minimum de 35 lb á po2 est recommandée pour les appareils avec filtres. Ouvrez complètement le robinet à brides. Voyez Raccordement de l�alimentation en eau, pages 42 et 43. Les robinets autoperceurs ou à brides de 3�16 po peuvent entraîner une basse pression de l�eau et peuvent obstruer la conduite après un certain temps. Le fabricant n�est pas responsable des dégâts matériels causés par une installation ou un raccordement à l�eau, inappropriés. Fermez l�eau et redressez le tube. Si cela n�est pas possible, remplacez le tube. Changez le filtre à eau (page 59). Ouvrez à fond le robinet d�eau et vérifiez s�il fuit. Le débit minimum d�eau au distributeur est d�environ 10 onces liquides en 9 secondes avec un nouveau filtre en place ou d�environ 10 onces liquides en 5 secondes sans filtre. Laissez l�eau pendant environ 12 heures dans le réservoir pour qu�elle se refroidisse. Ceci est normal lorsque le distributeur est utilisé pour la première fois et disparaît à l�usage. La première quantité d�eau sortant de la cartouche peut contenir de la poussière de carbone évacuée de la cartouche. Cette poussière n�est pas dangereuse et disparaît après quelques utilisations. Les particules ne sont pas dangereuses et se retrouvent naturellement dans l�eau.
Le robinet à brides n�est pas complètement ouvert. Un robinet à brides inapproprié a été installé.
Le tube en cuivre est entortillé.
Le filtre à eau est obstrué ou doit être changé. Le robinet d�eau n�est pas complètement ouvert.
L�eau qui s�écoule du distributeur n�est pas froide L�eau est trouble Il y a des particules dans l�eau ou les glaçons
Le réfrigérateur a été récemment installé. Il n�y a plus d�eau dans le réservoir. Présence d�air ou de bulles d�air dans l�eau. Poussière de carbone en provenance de la cartouche du filtre à eau.
Des concentrations de minéraux dans l�eau vont former des particules quand l�eau est congelée ou que la glace fond.
