I had been looking everywhere for a proper service manual for this VCR. Everywhere else that has this available for download has a very light version. 7.1 DISASSEMBLY
Cassette Mechanism Assy - Remove the Case(not shown) 1. Remove the three screws. 2. Remove the Case. - Remove the Cassette Mechanism Assy

1. Remove the four screws. 2.Disconnect the connector, and then remove the Cassette Mechanism Assy. - Remove the Panel Unit(Fig.1) Disengage the stopper at two locations indicated by arrow. Remove the Panel Unit.

- Remove the Tuner Amp Unit(Fig.2) Remove the two screws.
Remove the three screws.
Remove the screw.
Unbend the tabs at four locations indicated by arrow until straight. Remove the Tuner Amp Unit.
