The ervice manual for my 1982 Kenwood KR-1000 receiver is great! Full detail on all circuits with part number detail. I will definately be ordering more manuals for my other vintage equipment! Order was fulfilled quickly! Very efficient ordering process! Thnaks for your help! Great site!

Everything in the manual was excellent except for a couple of pictures of specific areas in the unit that were a little dark. Owners Manuals re-sent the pdf file & the problem was corrected. Excellent product! George

This is the original manufacturers service manual, with detailed info on the circit boards, explosion drawings of all parts in assembly order, and tuning instructions. The only thing missing is the information on the dimensions of the various drive belts. mail me if you need them. gcrossman_at_aol.com

Tuner Operation
Basic Operation of Tuner 4. Raise or lower the volume.
8.1 OPERATIONS
1. Select Tuner.
5. Turn the source OFF.
Each press changes the Source ...
The program service name or frequency appears on the display. (� � indicator lights when a stereo station is selected.)
2. Select the desired band. Hold for 1 second
AF Function Switching
This product�s function can switched ON and OFF. AF should be FI FII = MW/LW switched OFF for normal tuning operations.
3. Tune the receiver to a higher or lower frequency. � Switch AF OFF.
This product�s tuner lets you select tuning by changing length of the time you press the button. To switch AF ON, repeat the preceding operation.
Hold for 2 seconds �AF� disappears
Manual Tuning (step by step) 0.3 seconds or less � You can also switch AF ON/OFF in the Function Menu.
Note:
Seek Tuning 0.3 � 2 seconds
Manual Tuning (continuously) 2 seconds or more
Note:
� To select a weak broadcasting station that cannot be tuned in with the Seek
Tuning function, tune in with Manual Tuning.
