I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. TO ATTACH POURING SHIELD 1. Be sure speed control is OFF and mixer is unplugged. 2. Place bowl lift handle in down position. 3. Attach flat beater, dough hook or wire whip and bowl. 4. Place bowl lift handle in up position. 5. Slide pouring shield collar around beater shaft, centering collar over rim of bowl. Then, rotate opening in collar toward front of mixer.

TO USE POURING SHIELD 1. Pour ingredients into bowl through chute portion of shield. 2. Important: make sure the guides on the bottom of the chute rest on the rim of the bowl to keep ingredients from falling outside the bowl as they are added. TO REMOVE POURING SHIELD 1. Be sure speed control is OFF and mixer is unplugged. 2. Remove pouring chute from collar. 3. Slide pouring shield collar off bowl. 4. Place bowl lift handle in down position and remove attachment and bowl. TO CLEAN: Wash in warm sudsy water. If you wish you may place on the top rack of your dishwasher.
6. Fit tabs on the side of pouring chute into notches on the collar. 7. Fit the three notched guides on bottom of chute along rim of bowl.
