you are doing great job guys.....my father ask me to find out the schematics of Sony KV25R1D to sort out the problem ..(he was electrical technician, and excperianced with TV and simillar stuff). finally he found the cause and change all necessary parts....now he has got working old dog..and is very happy!!... thank you all.. REMOVING THE THERMSTAT 1. Remove the back lid ass'y according to "REMOVING THE BOTTOM LID ASS'Y". 2 Remove the thermostat rod bar from the end of the switch lever according to "REMOVING THE SWITCH ASS'Y". 3. Straighten the thermostat set pawls (3 places)to remove the thermostat from the outer pot ass'y. REMOVING THE HEATING PLATE 1. Remove the back lid ass'y according to "REMOVING THE BOTTOM LID ASS'Y". 2. Disconnect the lead wires from the hot plate terminals. 3. Remove the hot plate set screw(3 pcs., (a), (b), (c) of Fig.C-4) REMOVING THE PANEL ASS'Y 1. Remove the back lid ass'y according to "REMOVING THE BOTTOM LID ASS'Y". 2. Remove the bottom cover according to "REMOVING THE BOTTOM COVER". 3. Remove the heating plate and lead wires(white, black, red) of the switch ass'y. 4. Loosen the set screws for the switch ass'y. 5. As shown in Fig. C-5, insert a thin screw driver or the like between the body pawl and panel pawl, release the body pawl, and disengage it. NOTE) NOTE)

Fig. C-6 When reassembling,bend the body pawl as it was. When fitting the panel to the body, check that lead wires of the switch button do not impede motion of the switch button.
REMOVING THE LAMP ASS'Y. 1. Remove the panel ass'y according to "REMOVING THE PANEL ASS'Y". 2. Extend both ends of panel angles, and remove the panel. 3. Remove the panel spring. 4. Extend both ends of the panel angles, and remove the switch button ass'y. 5. Remove the button angle set screw(one pc.)to remove button angle and insulating panel. 6. Remove the lamp ass'y from the switch button body. "Remove fusion-fix(2 places)."
