This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. You can adjust the sound characteristics to your preference.

Adjust the level.
To increase the level.

Select the item you want to adjust.

Each time you press the button, the adjustable items change as follows: To decrease the level.
(bass) (volume)
BAS
(treble) (loudness)
TRE
(fader) (balance)
FAD
VOL
LOUD
BAL
Note: Normally, the +/� buttons work as the volume control.
So you do not have to select �VOL� to adjust the volume level.

Adjust the treble.

Adjust the front and rear speaker balance. Adjust the left and right speaker balance. Boost low and high frequencies to produce a wellbalanced sound at low volume level. Adjust the volume.
