Adjusting the Volume
Press VOLUME + to increase the volume or press VOLUME � to decrease it. � When you press and hold VOLUME + or �, the volume changes rapidly. Even if you turn down the volume to the minimum level, the volume cannot be turned off completely. For private listening: Connect a pair of headphones to the PHONES jack on the unit. No sound comes out of the speakers. � Be sure to turn down the volume before connecting or putting on headphones.
Listening to auxiliary equipment
Connect auxiliary equipment to AUX jack on the unit. � The unit changes the listening source to auxiliary equipment automatically. Note: Turn JVC PnP�s power off while listening to the auxiliary equipment to save the battery power. To listen to JVC PnP, unplug the cord from the AUX jack.
CAUTION:
DO NOT start playing any source without first setting the volume to minimum, as a sudden blast of sound can damage your hearing, speakers and/or headphones. AUX jack (3.5 mm stereo mini jack)
