I searched EVERYWHERE looking for the manual/s on this "extinct" amp. Owner-Manuals.com made it available and for nearly nothing. Thanx to them, I can decipher the unknown cables and sort them out. Thanx, Owner-Manuals.com!!
(8) Remove two scrwes and take the head out. � To adjust the head position, insert small screw driver through the hole on plastic shaft then turn the adjustment screw. First, turn the screw clockwise all the way then turn it counterclockwise 2 and 1/4 turns. Head will be placed in the center. Fine adjust the head position by turning the screw little by little and checking the result print. � When you assemble the head, remove caution plate for ink ribbon setting and insert the FPC cable through the hole.
(9) Depending on head rank printed on FPC cable, short or open the soldering pad on PCB 701 SUB as shown below.
