Sending Faxes
From memory!
The unit is able to scan documents, store them in memory, and then transmit them from memory. The memory capacity is approx. 21 pages based on the ITU-T No. 1 Test Chart in standard resolution (p. 73).

Insert the document FACE DOWN. q If necessary, press RESOLUTION repeatedly to select the desired setting (p. 26). Enter the fax number using the dial keypad or JOG DIAL . Press QUICK SCAN . The document will be fed into the unit and q

scanned into memory. After storing all of the pages, the unit will transmit the document. q The amount of memory used will be shown as a percentage on the display. Display: PAGES=01 05

Note:
q If
you select the �FINE�, �SUPER FINE� or �HALF TONE� resolution, the number of pages that the unit can transmit will decrease. q If the stored pages exceed the memory capacity, the transmission will be canceled.
To cancel the memory transmission
Press STOP while or after scanning the document.
