I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. Press once.
2 Play the music source from the beginning.
÷ Recording will start. ÷ The deck enters the stop mode automatically when the tape has been recorded till the end.
Bias level adjustment
The MODE key can be used to adjust the bias level. 1 Press the MODE key and select the "BIAS"
mode.

The high frequency increases.
÷ To adjust the bias level, play back the recorded sound and adjust to the suitable level.Repeat if necessary. ÷ The bias can be adjusted to a value of ±3.
How to use the MPX FILTER key
Use this function when recording a radio (FM) broadcasts.
Depending on the tuner, a recorded FM broadcast may produce a �beat� sound. In this case, press the MPX FILTER key before recording. To cancel, press the MPX FILTER key again.
