Everything is OK. Owner's Manual I downloaded ( I get link for it by email).

The only reason I gave this less than 4 stars, is because it shouldn't take 24 hrs to have the download available. I was surprised to find that I had to wait until the next day to be able to download the manual that I paid for.
The manual itself is the correct manual.

Basic Operations Placing documents
Perform the following and go to page 188 or 194 depending upon the operation.
s Using the ADF

a) Fan the stack of documents and tap it on a level surface to avoid document jams. b) Insert the documents fully in the ADF tray with the printed sides facing up and top of the documents �rst.
The height of document should not exceed the limit mark on the document guide, or it may cause a jam.
