I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Optional Headset
Connecting an optional headset to the handset allows hands-free phone conversation. Please use only a Panasonic KX-TCA60, KX-TCA86, KX-TCA88, KX-TCA88HA, KX-TCA91, KX-TCA92, or KX-TCA98 headset. To order, call the accessories telephone number on page 2.
Connecting an optional headset
Open the headset jack cover, and insert the headset plug into the headset jack as shown below.

To switch to the speakerphone while using the headset:
Press [s]. To return to the headset, press [C].
