This scanned manual is well done in that most all the pages except for one is straight and clear- the way I would do them. One page was upside down but that happens. For the money that is charged on this site you get a pretty good deal. Now with complex repairs, I still prefer to us paper manuals which I have to buy at stereomanuals but the one I got here was much less than the $45 he was charging but this is a larger than normal manual for three different units. I am a picky manual user because I have used original manuals from Sony and Teac.

I used it to repair a NAD 7030, but unfortunately, the 7045 is different !

14.3. Reset Circuit
When the handset is charged, or when the battery is inserted, the reset signal is generated as shown below.
14.4. Charge Circuit
Ni-cd battery is connected to CN202. When the handset is put on the cradle of the base unit, the power is supplied from CHARGE1 and CHARGE2 terminals to charge the battery. Q207 detects the voltage of CHARGE1 and CHARGE2 terminals, then the handset makes ID code setting (*) with the base unit.
14.5. Ringer Circuit
If the ringer volume is set to low and an alarm tone is output from DSP (LSG) and input to Q209. Then Q208 is turned off. If the ringer volume is set to high, Q208 turns on and results in a louder beep tone.
14.6. Sending Signal
The voice signal from the microphone input to DSP (CIDIP, CIDIN). CN203 is the headphone jack. When the headphone is connected, the Q206 detect it. The input from the microphone of the handset (CIDIN, CIDIP) is cut and the microphone signal from the headphone is input to pin 47 of IC201 (HMIN). Also the power for the microphone is supplied from Q211, and the power is turned OFF on standby. Signal pass: refer to �Handset TX� in Signal Route (P.75).
14.7. Reception Signal Circuit
The received signal from the base unit is output from DSP (SPN, SPP) as the voice signal. SPN is the inverse output of SPP, and the speaker is driven by SPN and SPP. CN203 is the headphone jack. When the headphone is connected to this jack, the output to the speaker of the handset (SPN,SPP) is cut and the voice signal is output to the headphone (HSOUT) only. Signal pass: refer to �Handset RX� in Signal Route (P.75).
