I AM HIGHLY IMPRESSED BY THE EASE OF USE OF THIS DOWNLOAD SERVICE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE CLEAR AND SIMPLE TO FOLLOW....EVEN BY TECHNOPHOBES SUCH AS MYSELF. THE EMAILS POINT YOU IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION...ITS SO EASY PEASY. THE DOWNLOAD CHOICE OF USER MANUALS IS EXTENSIVE AND I COULD NOT FIND A CHEAPER OR MORE EFFICIENT SERVICE ON THE INTERNET. When a call is being received, the ringer indicator on the handset and IN USE indicator on the base unit flash rapidly.

{SP-PHONE} Dial the phone number. When the other party answers, speak into the MIC. L Speak alternately with the other party. When you finish talking, press {SPPHONE}.

Note: L Use the speakerphone in a quiet environment. L While on a call, you can switch from the base unit to the handset: � Press {C} on the handset, then press {SP-PHONE} on the base unit. � If the handset is on the base unit, simply lift it. Adjusting the speaker volume Press {^} or {V} repeatedly while talking. Redialing the last number dialed {SP-PHONE} i {REDIAL}
Lift the handset and press {C} or {s}. L You can also answer the call by pressing any button except {^}, {V}, {<}, {>}, or {OFF}. (Any key talk feature) When you finish talking, press {OFF}.

Note: L You can change the ringer indicator light color and the ringer tone. You can also adjust the handset ringer volume (page 34). Auto talk This feature allows you to answer a call by simply lifting the handset off the base unit or charger. You do not need to press {C}. To activate this feature, see page 34. Temporary ringer off While the handset is ringing for an outside call, you can turn the ringer off temporarily by pressing {OFF}.
