Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.
Einstellung EINSTELLUNG DES L70
ANZEIGEN DES RECEIVER-BILDSCHIRMMEN�S (OSD) Drücken Sie kurz die L70-Taste �SETUP� zum Aufruf des DVD-Menüs und 3 Sekunden lang zur Anzeige des Receiver-Menüs. Sie können dann zur Auswanl verschiedener Menüs die Navigationstasten auf der Frontplatte des L70 oder auf der Fernbedienung HTR L70 verwenden. Für den Receiver des L70 wird das Hauptmenü <MAIN MENU> am Videomonitor/TV-Gerät angezeigt. Erscheint das OSD nicht, überprüfen Sie die Anschlüsse an MONITOR OUT der Ausgänge COMPOSITE oder S-VIDEO in Verbindung mit der Stellung des Schalters OSD SELECT. Schalten Sie mit diesem Schalter (auf der Rückwand des L70 neben den Buchsen MONITOR OUT) die OSD-Ausgabe zwischen COMPONENT und S-VIDEO um. HINWEIS Das Receiver-OSD wird nicht am Component-Video- (NTSC) oder SCART/RGB- (PAL) Ausgang angezeigt, auch nicht an den VCR-Aufnahmeausgängen, die nur zur Aufnahme, nicht zur Anzeige während des Receiverbetriebes vorgesehen sind. NAVIGATION UND �NDERUNG IM OSD-MEN� Drücken Sie die Taste SETUP auf der Frontplatte des L70 wie oben in �Anzeigen des ReceiverBildschirmmenüs (OSD)� beschrieben. Mit den Tasten der Fernbedienung HTR L70 oder der Frontplatte können Sie sich in den Menüpunkten der Einstellungsmenüs nach oben oder unten bewegen; mit �Enter� wählen Sie den Menüpunkt aus und mit können Sie den Parameterwert (die Einstellung) ändern. Die Auswahl von <MAIN MENU OFF> (Hauptmenü aus) im Einstellungsmenü schlie�t das OSD mit der �bernahme evtl. vorher vorgenommener Parameteränderungen. Wenn Sie im DVD-OSD die L70-Taste �SETUP� drücken, wird das DVD-OSD ein-/ausgeschaltet und die DVD-Einstellungen werden abgespeichert. HINWEIS Beim Abspielen einer DVD, VCD oder CD kann das DVD-Menü des L70 jederzeit aktiviert werden. Diese komfortable Funktion ermöglicht das unmittelbare �ndern von Audio- und Videoeinstellungen, d. h. ohne das Medium anzuhalten und ohne Wiedergabepause. EINSTELLEN DER SPRACHE F�R DAS L70-OSD (NUR RECEIVER) Wählen Sie auf der Fernbedienung HTR L70 mit den Tasten und �Enter� im OSD-Hauptmenü <MAIN MENU> den Menüpunkt <LANGUAGE> (Sprache). Wählen Sie mit den Tasten die Sprache für das Receiver-OSD des L70 aus: Englisch, Französisch oder Deutsch. EINSTELLEN DER EING�NGE Der L70 ist mit vier konfigurierbaren Eingängen ausgestattet: 3 Audio-/Videoeingänge mit der Bezeichnung CAB/SAT, VCR und VIDEO 4 (VIDEO 4 ist auf der Frontplatte) sowie ein Audioeingang ohne Video mit der Bezeichnung 5.1 CHANNEL INPUT. Diese werden aktiv, wann immer der entsprechende Eingang aktiviert wird. HINWEIS Digital- und Audio-Eingangssignale, die an digitalen (koaxial oder optisch) oder analogen Eingänge anliegen, schlie�en sich gegenseitig aus. Durch Umschalten der Auswahlmöglichkeiten im L70Anzeigefeld oder im OSD mit der Taste �DISPLAY� am L70 kann jedes Audiosignal dauerhaft ausgewählt werden.
