Thanks to Owner-Manuals.com! This manual was exactly what I needed. As Amana was purchased by Maytag and later by Whirlpool, there was no way to receive it from their websites. I was lucky to find this resource.

A comprehensive Operating and Service Manual. All schematics are complete and easy to read. The PCB drawings and complete parts list are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this manual.

washer but change your mind, push in on the Cycle Controi Knob ond turn to the right jc/ockw/sej to the setting you want Then puii out to start

High Agitation
The washer pauses for about 11;~ minutes after partial drain *THE WASHER WILL PAUSE BRIEFLY THROUGHOUT EACH CYCLE. These pauses are normal. They allow for the reversing of the motor, normal washer operations, and the cool-down portion of the PERMANENT PRESS cvcle.
