The service was quick and simple, finding the service manual easy and it appears to be the original with colour schematics. It contained the info I was after and so sorted the problem.
I have copied it to CD and attached the envelope to the inside back cover of the owners manual. Good manual and excelent service. Robin Wood, Wood Electronics, New Zealand.

4) Wiring Diagram
5) Packaging management
6) Spare part & final assembly list (for PCB rev A and B) + exploded view
7) Test Procedures (where, how to measure voltage...) including Test Point diagram on the PCB.

Excellent guide: very clear, good scan quality enabling us to print readable diagram :-)
Note:
Mackie HR824 make extensive use of surface mount devices (SMD). Service on the HR824 must
only be undertaken by experienced service technicians with the right tools, experience and patience to perform surface mount rework when needed.

This Service manual is very well scanned and its clean to read, no any anti-theft words that un-english could understand. I got my CCD600 working with this manual and it´s clear shematics :)

Power ON Procedure for Adjustment Connect an extension cable to the adjusting remote commander. Set the [PC] or [VIDEO] mode on the set. After making sure that the HOLD switch on the adjusting remote commander is not turned on (not at left (NOR) position), supply 8.4 Vdc to the DC IN 8.4 V jack (J701). (With the HOLD switch at HOLD position, the initial operation of the set does not finish, disabling the POWER switch function.) 4. Turn ON the POWER switch on the set. Confirm that a green LED lights up. 5. Set the HOLD switch on the adjusting remote commander to the HOLD (right (ADJ)) position. 7. Adjustment Finishing Procedure

Set HOLD switch on the adjusting remote commander to NOR position.
8. Password Reset (for operation check of the set) 1. Turn the POWER switch on, then press the �Password Reset� at the bottom of Power Box to reset the password set by the customer. 2. Operating the PUSH DISPLAY dial, select �No� on the Password Set screen to set �disuse of password�. Or,

After all adjustments and operation check finished, turn the POWER switch on, press the "Password Reset" at the bottom of Power Box, and turn the POWER switch off.
