Thanks to Owner-Manuals.com! This manual was exactly what I needed. As Amana was purchased by Maytag and later by Whirlpool, there was no way to receive it from their websites. I was lucky to find this resource.

A comprehensive Operating and Service Manual. All schematics are complete and easy to read. The PCB drawings and complete parts list are very helpful. I would definitely recommend this manual.
1 . Select
a CYCLE

Set . TEMPERATURE SELECTOR
Turn the Control Knob either way to point to the cycle and setting you want. See page 6 for information on the cycles.
Turn the Temperature Selector to the needed drying temperature
3 . Push
the START Button
To stop and restart the dryer
The dryer will start tumbling when you push the START Button.
To stop the dryer, open the door (or turn the Control Knob to OFF). To restart the dryer, close the door, select cycle, if necessary, and push START.
The Cycle Control Knob should point to OFF when the dryer is not in use. I? the dryer is stopped before the cycle is finished, turn the Cycle Control Knob to OFF. 5
