Have you blown a fuse or tripped the circuit breaker?

Is the power cord firmly plugged into a live circuit with proper voltage? Has a household fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped? Has a time-delay fuse been used? Are both hot and cold water faucets open? Are the water supply hoses kinked? Is the Cycle Control Knob set and pulled out?
