Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

CONTROLES DU PANNEAU FRONTAL � Bouton d'alimentation :
Appuyez sur ce bouton pour mettre le moniteur SOUS et HORS tension.

Mode Mise sous tension. � Mode Arrêt.
� MENU / ENTREE :
Activez le menu OSD lorsque le menu OSD est à l'arrêt ou bien activez/désactivez le fonction de réglage lorsque l'OSD est activé, ou bien Quittez le menu OSD lorsque vous êtes en mode OSD Régler le volume. � Contraste : Réglage de contraste ou fonction de réglage.
� Luminosité :
Réglage de luminosité ou fonction de réglage. 1. 2. Lorsque le menu OSD est activé, ce bouton fonctionnera comme une touche QUITTER (QUITTER le menu OSD). Lorsque le menu OSD est désactivé, appuyez sur ce bouton pendant 2 secondes pour activer la fonction Réglage Automatique. Cette fonction Réglage Automatique est utilisée pour paramétrer la position horizontale, la position verticale, l'horloge et le Focus.
� Bouton de réglage automatique/ Quitter:
Fonction de verrouillage OSD : Pour verrouiller OSD, maintenez le bouton MENU appuyé pendant que le moniteur est hors tension, puis appuyez sur le bouton d'alimentation pour mettre le moniteur sous tension. Pour déverrouiller l'OSD - maintenez appuyé le bouton MENU pendant que le moniteur est hors tension, puis appuyez sur le bouton d'alimentation pour mettre le moniteur sous tension.
NOTES � N�installez pas le moniteur dans un endroit près des sources de chaleur, � � �
telles que radiateurs ou conduits d�aération, ou dans un endroit exposé à la lumière directe du soleil, excessivement poussiéreux ou exposé aux vibrations et secousses mécaniques. Conservez le carton d�emballage ainsi que tout matériel d�emballage pour un renvoi éventuel du moniteur. Pour assurer une protection maximale de l�appareil pendant le renvoi, remballez le moniteur de la même façon qu�il a été emballé par le fabricant. Pour conserver l�aspect neuf du moniteur, nettoyez-le de temps en temps en utilisant une étoffe douce. Enlever les taches en utilisant une étoffe légèrement mouillée d�un détergent doux. N�utilisez jamais de dissolvants forts, tels que diluants, benzène ou des détergents abrasifs car ceux-ci peuvent endommager la boîte. Par mesure de précaution, débrancher toujours le moniteur avant de le nettoyer.
