I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

7. Bypass pushbutton switch When the Bypass pushbutton is pushed in, the signal from your guitar�s pickup passes through to Mama Bear�s output without any sonic shaping from Mama Bear�s AGE, although Mama Bear�s input buffers keep the signal strong. Using this switch is great for comparing your �straight� sound with the sound that comes from Mama Bear.
8. Mute LED indicator The Mute LED tells you when the Mute pushbutton (9) is engaged.
9. Mute pushbutton switch Push the Mute button, and the output signal is turned off. This is useful when you�re tuning or changing guitars, so you don�t annoy the audience or damage speakers.
