This GRUNDIG UV5A Owner Manual is not only an instruction manual but a total functional circuit description of the Multimeter and includes circuit diagram at the end pages. It is very helpful for repairing and calibrating the instrument. It is written in two languages English and German for international support. It was very easy to repair my unit with this document. Bypass pushbutton switch When the Bypass pushbutton is pushed in, the signal from your guitar�s pickup passes through to Mama Bear�s output without any sonic shaping from Mama Bear�s AGE, although Mama Bear�s input buffers keep the signal strong. Using this switch is great for comparing your �straight� sound with the sound that comes from Mama Bear.
8. Mute LED indicator The Mute LED tells you when the Mute pushbutton (9) is engaged.
9. Mute pushbutton switch Push the Mute button, and the output signal is turned off. This is useful when you�re tuning or changing guitars, so you don�t annoy the audience or damage speakers.
