The only reason I gave this less than 4 stars, is because it shouldn't take 24 hrs to have the download available. I was surprised to find that I had to wait until the next day to be able to download the manual that I paid for.
The manual itself is the correct manual.

Troubleshooting
GENERAL The system does not react when buttons are pressed. Sound cannot be heard or is of poor quality. â�� Remove and reconnect the AC power plug and switch on the system again. â�� Adjust the volume. â�� Disconnect the headphones. â�� Check that the speakers are connected correctly. â�� Check if the stripped speaker wire is clamped. â�� Check the speaker connections and location. â�� Select the source (CD or TUNER, for example) before pressing the function button (Ã�,Ã,ë). â�� Reduce the distance between the remote control and the system. â�� Insert the batteries with their polarities (+/â�� signs) aligned as indicated. â�� Replace the batteries. â�� Point the remote control directly toward IR sensor on the front of the system. â�� Set the clock correctly. â�� Press TIMER ON/OFF to switch on the timer. â�� If a recording is in progress, stop the recording. â�� Press DIM to select DIM OFF display mode. â�� Power has been interrupted or the power cord has been disconnected. Reset the clock/timer. â�� Press and hold DEMO STOP on the system to switch off the demonstration.
The left and right sound outputs are reversed. The remote control does not function properly.
The timer is not working.
Not all lighted buttons are showing light. The Clock/Timer setting is erased. The system displays features automatically and buttons start flashing.
