Everything is OK. Owner's Manual I downloaded ( I get link for it by email).

The only reason I gave this less than 4 stars, is because it shouldn't take 24 hrs to have the download available. I was surprised to find that I had to wait until the next day to be able to download the manual that I paid for.
The manual itself is the correct manual.

s To check the elapsed time and remaining time of the track
During playback, press the DISPLAY button. q Each time the button is pressed, the display will change as follows:
Track number Track name Note: If character information was not originally recorded on the MiniDisc, �NO NAME� will be displayed.

s To check the remaining recording time and the total playing time
Whilst in the stop mode, press the DISPLAY button. q Each time the button is pressed, the display will change as follows: Total number of tracks Disc name Remaining play time
Remaining recording time
To display the playing time of an individual track: Whilst in the stop mode, press the 5 or 4 button to display the track number and track name, and then press the DISPLAY button to display the playing time for that track. q Each time the 5 or 4 button is pressed, the playing time of the previous or next track will be displayed.
