Reading the Display: Convert the hexadecimal display of each digit into binary display. If more than two causes, they will be added. Example When 42 is displayed: Higher bit: 4 = 0100 � b6 Lower bit: 2 = 0010 � b2 In this case, the retry cause is combined of �CLV unlock� and �ader5�. Example When A2 is displayed: Higher bit: A = 1010 � b7+b5 Lower bit: 2 = 0010 � b1 In this case, the retry cause is combined of �ACCESS default�, �IVRrec� and �ader5�. The reading of the track mode display is as follows.

Example When 07 is displayed: Higher bit: 0 = 0000 � all 0 Lower bit: 7 = 0111 � b0+b1+b2 This example shows that �Emphasis: ON�, �Stereo�, �Original�, �Copyright exists� and �Writing is prohibited� because b0, b1 and b2 are 1 while all other bits are 0.
