Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Utilisation du menu du disque
En fonction du disque chargé, il est possible qu�un menu s�affiche à l�écran du téléviseur. Pour sélectionner une fonction de lecture ou une autre option : Utilisez les touches ou le pavé numérique (0-9) de la télécommande, puis appuyez sur OK pour démarrer la lecture. Pour accéder au menu ou pour le quitter : Appuyez sur la touche DISC MENU de la télécommande. Lorsque ce message s�affiche à l�écran du téléviseur, appuyez sur PREV pour lancer la lecture à partir du début. La lecture reprend à partir du premier titre (DVD) ou au début du titre/piste (VCD/CDDA/SVCD). Pour supprimer le message à l�écran du téléviseur, appuyez sur DISPLAY.

Vous pouvez effectuer une recherche lente vers l�avant ou vers l�arrière sur un disque et sélectionner une autre vitesse.
A Appuyez sur
Zoom avant
Cette fonction permet d�agrandir l�image à l�écran du téléviseur et de faire un panoramique sur l�image agrandie.
Pour les DVD,VCD,SVCD en cours de lecture pour sélectionner la vitesse désirée : 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 or 1/16 {arrière ou avant}. Le son est désactivé. PLAY/PAUSE u. Conseil : � Appuyez sur SLOW uniquement pour ralentir la lecture en avant.
B Pour rétablir la vitesse normale, appuyez sur
A Lors de la lecture, appuyez plusieurs fois sur la
touche ZOOM pour afficher l�image à différentes échelles. Utilisez les touches pour vous déplacer dans l'image agrandie. La lecture se poursuit.
Recherche avant/arrière
Vous pouvez effectuer une recherche rapide vers l�avant ou vers l�arrière sur un disque et sélectionner la vitesse de recherche souhaitée. Pour les DVD,VCD,SVCD,CD A Appuyez directement sur les touches ou appuyez sur les touches . > pendant 2 secondes en cours de lecture pour sélectionner la vitesse souhaitée : 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x ou 32x (avant ou arrière). Le son est désactivé (DVD/VCD) ou intermittent (CD).
B Appuyez plusieurs fois sur ZOOM pour
rétablir la taille d�origine.
Reprise de la lecture au point d�interruption
Il est possible de reprendre la lecture des 5 derniers disques là où elle a été interrompue, même en cas d�éjection (ouverture) ou de veille. La reprise automatique est active pour les disques de type DVD, VCD, SVCD et CD. Chargez l'un des 5 derniers disques. Le message « Play from start, press [PREV] » (Lecture à partir du début. Appuyez sur [PREV]) s�affiche les 10 premières secondes de la lecture.
B Pour rétablir la vitesse normale, appuyez sur
PLAY/PAUSE u. Conseil: � Pour les CD, l�avance ou le retour rapide s�obtient uniquement en appuyant sur la touche . > pendant quelques secondes ou plus.
