This manual covers the main equipment features only. While it also includes the procedure for saving and loading from the now long obsolete memory cards it does not mention the how to operate with the optional floppy drive interface so I am still at a loss about how to use this! Note that there is a separate manual covering the MIDI interface and programming via the keyboard, not included in this download. You will also need to get hold of this if you want to use the MIDI interface properly. Basically there is little difference between this manual and the free to download manual for the similar PR60 model.

2. Vorbereiten des mecablitz
Achten Sie beim Einsetzen der Batterien darauf,
da� + Pol und - Pol wie auf den Symbolen angezeigt liegen. Vertauschte Pole können zur Zerstörung des Gerätes führen! Ersetzen Sie immer beide Batterien durch gleiche Batterien desselben Herstellertyps mit gleicher Kapazität! Verbrauchte Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll! Geben Sie verbrauchte Batterien bei entsprechenden Sammelstellen ab.
Wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird, sollte es grundsätzlich ausgeschaltet werden. 2.4 Montieren/ Abnehmen des mecablitz � mecablitz ausschalten. � Drücken Sie den Entriegelungsknopf an der Rückseite des mecablitz (Bild 2). � Schieben Sie den mecablitz mit dem Anschlu�fu� bis zum Anschlag in den Blitzschuh der Kamera. � vor dem Abnehmen das Blitzgerät ausschalten. � Drücken Sie den Entriegelungsknopf an der Rückseite des mecablitz (Bild 2) und ziehen das Gerät von der Kamera ab.
2.3 Automatische Geräteabschaltung Um eine versehentliche Entladung der Batterien zu vermeiden, schaltet das Gerät ca. 8 Minuten - nach dem Einschalten, - nach dem Auslösen eines Blitzes, - nach Antippen des Kameraauslösers, oder - nach Einschalten des Kamerabelichtungsme�systems ab, um Strom zu sparen. Die grüne Blitzbereitschaftsanzeige erlischt. Zum Wiedereinschalten den mecablitz mit dem Hauptschalter aus- und einschalten. 6
