Checking the total playing time
Press DISPLAY repeatedly when playback is stopped.

Each time you press the button, the display changes cyclically as follows:
x When a disc is in Normal Play mode

Total number of tracks1) or albums2) or the total playing time3) t Title of current disc4) or current album1) t Clock display (for 8 seconds) t Effect status (for 8 seconds)

For disc with MP3 audio tracks in �ALBM� and �ALBM SHUF� modes. For disc with MP3 audio tracks in play modes other than �ALBM� and �ALBM SHUF�. For audio CDs. For discs with MP3 audio tracks in play modes other than �ALBM�, �ALBM SHUF� and CD-TEXT discs.

x When a disc is in Program Play mode

The last track number of the program and the total playing time1) t Total number of programmed tracks (for 8 seconds)2) t Disc title3) t Clock display (for 8 seconds) t Effect status (for 8 seconds)

�--.--� appears in the following cases: � When the audio CD contains 21 tracks or more, and the track number which exceeds 20 is selected. � When the total program exceeds 100 minutes. � When the program list contains MP3 audio tracks. �NO STEP� appears in the display if there is no program. Only for CD-TEXT disc and a disc with MP3 audio tracks.
