I was so happy that the owner's manual was available. It is well written and helped me to use the radio/CD player/recorder without problems. Thanks for making it available.

Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.
l Set the CTRL RM Level and Headphone level to about 50%. l If you want to hear what youre doing later, plug your headphone into the phone output socket, or hook up your control room amplifier system to the Control Room outputs. l Release the channel on button, the LED will not light. But please ask the singer to perform alive, dont whisper while youre making sound check, or else ...... l Push in the PFL button, the LED should light. l Set EQ control and Graphic EQ at center position. l Set PAN and BALANCE knobs at center position. l You need a headphone to continue. l Apply a typical performance level signal, monitoring the level on the LED meter. l Adjust the input trim until the meter show in the amber section, with occasional peak to the first red LED at maximum source level. This allows enough headroom to accommodate peak and the maximum level for normal operation; you can listen to them through your headphone. l For +4 line level audio signals, you may not need to turn it at all. l For -10 sources, you may need to turn the trim a little bit higher. l For microphone sources, the trim control adjustment will depend on what kind of the microphone you use, normally turn the trim clockwise around 2~3 oclock. But please ask the singer to perform alive, dont whisper, if they didnt wake up while youre doing the sound check, when they are back to alive, you might drive the mixer overload or produce the feedback, because you set the gain too high during the initial set up. l Repeat this procedure on every other channel, when more channels are added to the mixer, the meters LED may move up to the red section, adjust the overall level using the master faders if necessary.
2.4 BALANCED/UNBALANCED SYSTEM
Unbalanced/Balanced Connection
Most of the mistakes in audio installations are incorrect & defective audio connections. Most of the mistakes in audio installations are incorrect and defective audio connections. In order to perfectly complete your installation, please pay special attention to the following section unless you are already familiar with balanced/unbalanced operation.
What is an unbalanced system?
You can find this system in most of home audio-video system. The connector uses one conductor to carry the signal, and the other conductor for ground. Normally for lower level signal, the signal conductor is shielded by the ground conductor.
What is a balanced system?
Balanced system transmits the signal via 2 conductors plus one ground shielding conductor. The 2 signal conductors carry the same signal but out of phase. For the balanced input stage, the amplifier will boost the difference of the 2 signal conductors and remove the identical part of the 2 signal
