Having bought a pre-owned Sony FM stereo tuner through eBay, it came without any manuals. It soon became clear that to get the best from this excellent tuner I needed a decent manual because much of the operation was not intuitive to a newboy to hi fi like me. I managed to download the official Sony multi-lingual manual from Owner-Manuals.com with no problem at all - a really quick and easy service. I'm very glad I did because I found out all the operations of the tuner and was then able to not only set it up quickly but also to get much more from it that poke-and-hope trialling would ever achieve. In my book $4.99 very well spent.
FORWARD AND BACKWARD SKIP/SEARCH BUTTONS
To skip forward or backward to the beginning of a particular track during playback, press the or Skip buttons repeatedly until the desired track number appears on the display. Playback will begin on the desired track. To search for a particular passage on a track during playback, press and hold the or Search buttons. The player will search rapidly forward or back. Release se the button when you reach the desired point on the track and normal speed playback will resume at that point.
REMAINING TIME INDICATION
While the CD is playing, each time you press the �remain� button on the Remote Control, the Display changes as shown below:
1.) ELAPSED TIME OF THE TRACK.
2.) REMAINING TIME OF THE TRACK.
3.) TOTAL REMAINING TIME OF THE DISC.
TOTAL REMAIN TRACK
ALL DISC
4.) TOTAL ELAPSED PLAY TIME.
