Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

PROBL�MES Le réfrigérateur ne fonctionne pas CAUSES POSSIBLES Cordon d�alimentation non branché. Prise sans courant. Commande du réfrigérateur à la position OFF (ARR�T). Réfrigérateur en cours de dégivrage automatique. Température ambiante inférieure à 13 °C (55 °F). Les réfrigérateurs d�aujourd�hui se mettent en marche et s�arrêtent plus souvent afin de maintenir des températures uniformes. Normal à la mise en marche initiale pour les appareils neufs ou installés récemment. Ouvertures des portes prolongées ou fréquentes. �tanchéité déficiente des portes. Grille de plinthe avant obstruée. Lumière ne fonctionnant pas Luminescence visible dans les évents du congélateur Air tiède sortant du bas de la caisse Vibration de la caisse Odeur dans les compartiments Bruits, sons et vibrations Compartiments congélateur et réfrigérateur � température trop élevée Ampoule grillée. L'électricité n�arrive pas à l�appareil. Une luminescence rougeâtre ou un reflet est normal lors du dégivrage. SOLUTIONS Brancher la fiche dans la prise. Remplacer le fusible. Réenclencher le disjoncteur. Régler la commande du réfrigérateur (page 27). Attendre 25 minutes que le dégivrage se termine. Réinstaller l�appareil dans un environnement convenable (voir Installation page 23).
Essayer les solutions suivantes si les anomalies indiquées se manifestent�
Le compresseur fonctionne trop fréquemment ou trop longtemps
Attendre 24 heures pour un refroidissement complet du réfrigérateur (voir Commandes de température page 27). Ceci est normal. Minimiser les ouvertures de portes. Vérifier si quelque chose n�empêche pas les portes de se fermer. Dégager pour permettre à l�air tiède de quitter l�appareil. Débrancher le réfrigérateur et changer l�ampoule (page 34). Vérifier si le cordon est bien branché.
Ceci est normal. Il s�agit de l�air qui a circulé au contact du condenseur. Aplomb déficient de la caisse. Sol insuffisamment ferme. Des aliments générateurs d�odeur ne sont pas couverts. Ceci est normal. Aplomb déficient de la caisse. Commande réglée à une température trop élevée. Ouvertures prolongées des portes. Température ambiante inférieure à 13 °C (55 °F). Les produits à teneur élevée en sucre peuvent ne pas durcir complètement même congelés. Commande réglée à une température trop basse.
Mettre la caisse à niveau (page 23). Les couvrir ou bien les envelopper. Nettoyer la caisse. Voir Bruits normaux (page 36). Mettre la caisse à niveau (page 23). Régler la commande de température (page 27). Minimiser les ouvertures de portes. L�appareil ne fonctionne pas assez pour maintenir les bonnes températures.
