I was searching a way to modify the original phono-in entry (for connection of vynil disc player, with RIAA equalization) to a line-in entry (for connection of modern analog entries, eg. ipod, mp3player).
This service manual gave me the correct hints.
It contains very useful infos for repairing and modifing the hi-fi, such as disassembling instructions, block diagrams, schematic diagrams, PCB prints, replacement parts list.

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1-5: TOP SHIELD ASS'Y (Refer to Fig. 1-5) 1. Remove the 9 screws 1. 2. Remove the Top Shield Ass'y in the direction of arrow.

Remove the Operation PCB in the direction of arrow (C). Disconnect the following connectors: (CP2601, CP2602 and CP2603). Remove the 4 screws 4. Remove the CD Deck in the direction of arrow (D). Remove the 4 screws 5. Remove the DVD PCB in the direction of arrow (E). 1-7: POWER PCB (Refer to Fig. 1-7) 1. Disconnect the following connector: (CP3603). 2. Remove the 3 screws 1. 3. Remove the Power PCB in the direction of arrow.

NOTE When the installation of the Deck CD, remove all the soldering on the short circuit position after the connection of Pick Up PCB and DVD PCB connector.
