I purchased the unit from a private party and the original owners manual was not available. Having the ability to download it was extremely helpful and clarified operating the equipment immensely. This is a complicated unit and without the manual I would not have been able to maximize it's potential. Thank you.

Turn the jog dial repeatedly to select the sound mode and then press the jog dial to enter the selection.

Enter the menu and select �SOUND� - �V-SUR�. Turn the jog dial repeatedly to select the surround mode, and then press the jog dial to enter the selecteion.
Level of the each frequency (100Hz - 10 kHz)
Indication which represents each sound mode appears.

1 While the recorder is playing, enter the menu and select �SOUND� - �SOUND EQ� �CUSTOM1� or �CUSTOM2�. 2 Press . or > to select the frequency.
