Turning off the beep sound
You can turn off the beep sound in the headphones/earphones.
Jog dial

Turn the control towards . or N> until �BEEP� flashes in the display, and then press x. Turn the control towards . or N> until �BEEP OFF� flashes in the display, and then press x.
To turn on the beep sound Select �BEEP ON� in step 3 on the recorder, and then press the jog dial. Select �BEEP ON� in step 4 on the remote control, and then press x.

You can adjust the contrast of the display window on the recorder.

Press the jog dial, turn the dial until �OPTION� flashes in the display, and then press the dial again. Turn the jog dial until �BEEP� flashes in the display and then press the dial. Turn the jog dial until �BEEP OFF� flashes in the display, and then press the dial.

While the recorder is stopped, press the jog dial, turn the dial until �OPTION� flashes in the display, and then press the dial again. Turn the jog dial until �CONTRAST� flashes in the display, and then press the jog dial. Turn the jog dial to adjust the contrast, and then press the jog dial.

Press DISPLAY for 2 seconds or more. Turn the control towards . or N> until �OPTION� flashes in the display, and then press x.
Note
You cannot adjust the contrast with the remote control, nor can you adjust the contrast of the display on the remote control.
