Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

Pour Iire tous Ies disques situes clans Ie compartment, appuyer sur la touche 4 E. La lecture commence par Ie disque du plateau 1. Temps de lecture ecoule
Appuyer sur la touche CD, puis appuyer sur la touche = OPEN/CLOSE pour ouvrir Ie compartment a disques. Mettre Ie(s) disque(s) en place avec I�etiquette en haut.
Pour Iire un ou deux disques, mettre Ies disques sur Ies plateaux 1 et 2. Pour Iire trois disques, appuyer sur la touche DISC CHANGE pour faire tourner les plateaux apres avoir mis deux disques en place. Mettre en place Ie troisieme disque sur Ie plateau 3. Fermer Ie comDartiment a disques en appuyant sur Ie touche = OPEN/CLOSE. rDISCCHANGE

Pour [ire un disque seulement, touches DISC DIRECT PLAY.
Le disque selectionne est Iu une fois.

Pour arr&er la lecture, appuyer sur la touche s . Pour mettre la lecture en pause, appuyer sur la touche 11. Pour reprendre la lecture, appuyer de nouveau sur cette touche. Pour rechercher un point particulier pendant la lecture, tenir la touche ++ ou ®> enfoncee jusqu�a ce que [e point souhaite soit atteint. Pour passer au debut d�une plage pendant la lecture, appuyer sur la touche ++ ou ®P a plusieurs reprises. Pour enlever des disques, appuyer sur la touche = OPEN/ CLOSE.

Pour demarrer la lecture quand I�alimentation (fonction de lecture directe)

Appuyer sur la touche CD. L�appareil est mis sous tension et la lecture du (ales) disque(s) en place demarre. Pour changer des disques avant la lecture, appuyer sur la touche ~ OpEN/CLOSE pour ouvrir Ie compartment a disques. Nombre total de plages Pour verifier Ie temps restant Appuyer sur la touche CD EDIT/CHECK pendant la lecture. Le temps restant jusqu�a ce que toutes Ies plages soient Iues est affiche. Pour retablir I�affichage du temps de lecture, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche.

Pour mettre un disque de 8 cm en place, Ie poser clans Ie renfoncement circulaire du plateau. Ne pas mettre plus d�un disque compact sur un plateau. Ne pas incliner I�appareil avec des disques en place. Cela pourrait provoquer des pannes.
