Thanks so much for the Owner's manual for my Sony PS - FL1. I had purchased the turntable off of eBay. It came in and looked great. Packed well and appeared to be great. I balanced and aligned the tone are and hooked it up. When trying to play a record the tone are would move to the right place and just before it would drop to play it moved back off the edge of the record before touching down. I searched the net for an answer to this issue. No luck. Then I purchased the owners manual and sure enough there was a place to adjust where the stylus touched down. That adjustment solved the problem and saved me a $35 feet to have the player checked out. The manual is well written and easy to understand. It is a must have for anyone with this front loading Sony turntable.

Some years back I pruchased a Sansui G-9000. I had it cleaned up and a problem with the left channel repaired. When I got it back I hooked it up to my tape decks, turn tables, TV and it played great. The only thing I was not really satisfied with was the performance of my Graphic Equalizer. I purchased this owner's manual had poured myself a cup of coffee. The manual is well organized and written in plain language. It also contained the solution to my dissatisfaction. By using the preamp connections coupled I was able to run everything through my graphic equalizer and now enjoy the full potential of my complete system.

An excellent service for the price, however, it would also have been handy if the troubleshooter pages were included. The manual is only sent in the language of your country, thus it looks as though there are some pages missing. Otherwise highly recommended.

2 Appuyer sur SPICE A. 2 Tout en tenant encore la touche enfoncee, tourner MULTI JOG,
SeIon Ie sens clans Iequel on tourne MULTI JOG, different crissements sent produits. Le mode �crissement� est invalide quand on rel&che la touche A, Le son actuellement memorise en A est audible et son nom apparalt sur I�affichage. Chaque fois qu�on appuie sur A, Ie son est produit.
3 Si on veut changer Ie son de A, tourner MULTI JOG jusqu�a ce que I�on trouve Ie son souhaite.
(Si une coupure se produit apres avoir termine I�etape 2 et avant d�effectuer I�etape 3, appuyer de nouveau sur SPICE A.)
Utilisation
de la fonction AUTO SPICE
La fonction AUTO SPICE produit Ies sons de SPICE A et B en synchronisation avec la musique, Ie son de A en reponse aux signaux de basse frequence, et Ie son de B en reponse a ceux de frequence elevee.

5 Pour regier Ie niveau des sons de A et B, acceder X� en appuyant sur RYTHM autant de fois que necessaire, puis tourner MULTI JOG clans Ies quatre secondes.

SeIon la musique, la fonction AUTO SPICE risque de ne pas fonctionner comme on Ie voudrait. Le cas echeant, utiliser la fonction SPICE A/B a la place. La fonction AUTO SPICE n�est pas disponible quand on fait une copie de cassette avec Ies deux platines a I�aide de SYNC DUB.
Les niveaux de A et B sent regles en m6me temps.

Ilindicateur bleu ressemblant a une cascade, situe a gauche de �BBE sur I�afhchage, clignote et Ie son de SPICE A est reproduit en synchronisation avec Ies graves, et celui de SPICE B I�est en synchronisation avec Ies aigus.
Si on appuie fugitivement sur SPICE A ou B ou si on produit des crissements quand un type de rythme est genere ou tandis qu�un son FILL IN est produit, une coupure momentanee peut se produire parfois clans Ie type de rythme ou clans Ie son FILL IN. II en est de m6me pour Ies sons AUTO SPICE quand on appuie fugitivement sur SPICE A ou B ou quand on produit des crissements.
