Attaching the battery pack

Open the battery cover until the chck sounds.

Notes . If you turn on the p l a y e r while chargmg, chargmg IS s u s p e n d e d uml you turn off the player . If you press D while c h a r g m g , chargmg IS suspended and

After attachmg the battery pack, connect the AC power adapter, then recharge the battery pack (When usmg a recharged battery pack, the AC power adapter IS not necessary )

playback starts Chqlng ~111 resume when you turn off the player If you press OPEN whlie chargmg, charging 1s suspended After a while, the chargrng restarts

Attach the battery pack to the player Connect the AC power adapter to the player and plug mto the waU outlet When charging starts, �CHG� appears m the front panel display

AC power adapter (suppled)

the AC power adapter from the player and pull out from the wall outlet after chargmg When chargmg IS complete, �CHG� disappears from the front panel display

When to recharge the battery pack
When the battery power becomes weak, �a� appears on the TV screen and m the front panel display while usmg the player If you contmue to use the player

To prevent accidental pressing of the buttons
Turn the power off durmg the attachment
